About Kari Lindegren, PT, DPT, OCS

Kari Lindegren, PT, DPT, OCS graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed her Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is passionate about improving the health of young athletes, and educating all patients across the life span to empower themselves and promote long-term well being.

Dr. Lindegren’s special interests within physical therapy include working with adolescent athletes, pelvic floor rehabilitation including pelvic pain, bladder pain, pelvic floor dysfunctions, weakness and instability issues in pregnancy and postpartum, injury prevention for all ages, teaching within the professional healthcare community and also educating the community at large. She has participated in research pertaining to low back pain in adolescents and has had the opportunity to present research and topics pertaining to youth athletes.

Kari grew up in California and swam competitively with the Mission Viejo Nadadores. She also swam competitively for 4 years at New York University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
